Pita Bread/Pita Pocket

This Pita Bread/Pita Pocket is a request from my elder sister that love eating it.She ask me to try to find the recipe and try out to test the texture, so yesterday manage to find the recipe and try out, will let her taste to check the texture and hopefully it is the one that she is looking for.

English Muffin


These English Muffin already at my list of "Things To Do" for quite sometime,since this Saturday is our month end gathering with my sis and brother, so yesterday try out this recipe.I am quite happy with the texture and I love the smell of the muffin.Will try making it again tomorrow.

Vegetable And Prawn Fritters



Few years back while my two boys still very young,I work as a part time at Jurong Point Shopping centre selling HongKong tim sum, I love eating the Vegetable and Prawn Fritters which the stall owner fry, but after 1 year working with him and due to need to look after my boys I stop working.
A year later, the owner wanted to open a childcare centre and decided not to continue the contract with the shopping centre.Since than I cannot get a nice fritter and really miss the taste of these fritter until I saw this recipe and decided to try hopefully I can get the similar smell and taste.These fritter smell and taste quite similar but I still find something is missing, anyway I am glad that at least it is much better than outside selling.

菠萝包 2 & Christmas Stollen



Last week try baking the 菠萝包 ,but Aunty Irene explain that the bun should be high up and the 菠萝皮 should only cover the top so last weekend try baking it again.
I also try baking Christmas Stollen, this bread really taste as great as the 菠萝包.My son enjoy eating both.Thanks Aunty Irene for the recipes.

菠萝包

Yesterday night after work, I try baking these HongKong 菠萝包 that Aunty Irene keep praising that these buns really taste very great.

So after 2 hours of hardwork,finally these HongKong 菠萝包 ready to be eaten , as instruct by Aunty Irene that it taste even great if 1 or 2 slices of SCS butter to be sandwich while it is still hot.

As usual my youngest son will be the one that taste it first,suddenly he shouted
" Mummy , Oh No these Hongkong菠萝包really "SEE BAY HO CHIA and it is also the best bun I ever had" after hearing what he say, I ask my hubby to try, but he claim that he is still very full, so I pester him to just have a bite and to my surprise he asks for another slice of SCS butter to be sandwich and took the whole piece.

I am really very happy and enjoy watching them eating. Thanks Aunty Irene for the great recipe and all the teaches through out all these years.
