Kueh Lapis

After seeing Margaret baking the Kueh Lapis,really cannot wait to bake one for my youngest sister , so yesterday ask Auntie Irene for the recipe and start my baking at about 10.30pm.I am so happy that the end product came out to be good and taste great.Thanks Auntie Irene for the recipe and thanks Margaret , L-5 and Raymond for their hard work.

Your kueh lapis is very nice and look soft too.

The layers look thickm how much did u pour for each layer? Your layering is very even. good job!

your youngest sis must be your favourite, u really care a lot for her, so late still can churn out a nice cake for her...

Dorene, your kueh lapis looks soft and nice. Yesterday made the kueh lapis at Auntie Irene house's, but the result turns out some portion was not cooked, failed. Feel so disappointed, I will try again this two days.

Margaret, I follow Auntie Irene recipe with 100g of batter every layer.I actually love all my family member la,but just becos she is the youngest in the family so more love given to her lor.

Mabel, I start at 10.30pm and end at around 12.30am after washing up everything, I slept at 2.30am

May,Auntie Irene told me about this yesterday.Don't feel disappointed,I believe with your skill sure can bake a very nice and soft kueh lapis.

your cheesecake really looks great. Well done!

The piping also ok la, natural and original! We cannot expect ourselves to pipe very uniformly like those professional pastry chef, don't forget they also go through a lot of training and practises to achieve it. We only get to do it once in a while, they do it many times a day...

u also newly bought a bread maker? same brand as Dorene?

Ha..ha..In fact I make bread almost everyday, if the bread maker's result is good, it's definitely a great help. Free up a lot of time.

Thanks for the encouragement! You are right, we are all new birds when comes to piping, ha..ha.. got to practise more.
My bread maker is not new, it's from my sister. If I'm not wrong, the brand is Home Baker.
